What Should I Write About Now....

So yesterday, a friend of mine asked via his Facebook status page, just like every other cool old-kids would, for any ideas that would make a good article. Lots of replies came, but they were mostly about world domination by an evil organization for some reason - which actually does have a potential to be a good article as it is, since it has been the main theme of most tokusatsu and super sentai TV series.

One of them suggested to "make an article about making a good article", jokingly of course. But the idea of making something inside something and making it go deeper actually proved to work so well that it becomes a good idea. So thank you, passing stranger who posted a comment on my friend's status, for giving me a good material.

And thank you Google Translate, for being drunk as always

My suggestion to my friend was to establish what topic to write about, or "just start writing random stuffs until the idea comes around by itself". The former option is the one that probably most article writers use, since it's the easiest. Knowing what topic we should write about helps lowering the burden of thinking about the things we want to write next.

This doesn't always be the case, however, since there will be times that we just have no idea what to write about. Hence, the second option comes to play.

When you're stuck and have zero ideas on what to write about, yet you still want to quench that writer's libido (we have writer's block, so why not), just start write whatever that comes in your mind and start from there. It could be your daily activities, your hobbies, your favourite food, your first love, your fart fetish, or whatever.

The start of a potential 2000 words long article

Seriously, anything in your head could be a good writing material. Take mine for example; the top most interesting things that occupy my mind are fantasy stories, video games, cute girls, and erotica. And if you go and search those things on the internet, you'll see a lot of those topics are published online, and there are many people who read them. Especially the last one.

So don't be afraid and start writing whatever that thing is in your head, and worry about the content quality and people's feedback later. You won't improve if you don't try out of fear of those. Hell, you can go ahead and mix all your thoughts up if you want, you might end up with something more interesting.

Which would make the mix of mine a goddamn eroge

Just remember that you need to feel attached to the topic. Because if you only do it to just pass some time or if you feel like you're being forced to do it, usually the article will end up to be not interesting due to the lack of the writer's passion (again, with same reason).

I hope this helps you readers, aspiring writers and veterans alike.
