Appreciation and Greed

Some of you may wonder why I didn't make a post about the last AFAID like I did with the Toy's Fair a few months ago. Well, first of all, for you Indonesian readers, I'm sure your own Facebook wall has been filled with your friends' posts about it, so I figured that I won't add anymore hype in it - especially if you didn't go there but was really looking forward to, then I would be just adding more salt to the wound.

Besides, the whole thing was really awesome that I just have no idea how to describe the entire thing in words, and any attempt that I do would reduce the impact so much that I won't be able to convey the fun I had back there. Although to be honest, I had a hard time trying to make it into a not normal diary, so I became a little bit lazy to do it. Let's just say that I was really happy and satisfied.

Cleaning Out My Closet, And Everything Else Around it

Yesterday marks the start of the Anime Festival Asia in Indonesia (AFAID), making it the 3rd time that it's being held here. I didn't go there yesterday nor today though, I planned to be there on Sunday. It's not because that the first two days are less interesting than the third, I just can't really afford to go to all three days, and not to mention that it's going to be exhausting for me.

The one thing that I'm concerned about is the merchandise. I know that I won't be able to buy a lot of stuffs, but that's exactly why I'm worried, since the ones I actually want might probably got sold out already by Sunday. And there's also the events that only takes place on the first two days too.

I have decided to live my life with no regrets, but missing this view is just too much

Dear Dairy

Since I have sworn not to write any more political shits regarding the presidential election, which STILL has not been resolved peacefully after almost two weeks since the results were out, there's practically no juicy stuffs for me to write about regarding the current events in Indonesia. But seriously though, that's pretty much the one thing that people are still talking about, even world cup euphoria never lasted this long.

At least the fad had mostly died down compared to the early months of it, since most (not all) the supporters of the losing party have gone quiet, presumably weeping in shame and regret after all the hate talks and heated arguments with their now-no-longer friends that they've been doing for the past 2 months. Or they probably killed themselves and fulfilled their promise after all, good riddance.

Yes, things have became that retarded, I'm not joking, there are people who actually sworn to commit suicide if their candidate lose the election. And of course once they do lose, those people throws any excuse they can find to void that promise. With that kind of overzealous behavior, it almost look like they think that their candidate is God's offspring and He should be supporting their cause directly... Wait, they actually do?

No, Thor, It's not about you

Well fuck it, I'm dropping that subject forever.

His Table was Ready

So there I was in the middle of writing another post, which is about a joke in milk advertisement (so you shouldn't be taking it too seriously). I checked my Facebook to see what's up around the world, since TV Newschannel here in Indonesia is pretty much useless by now, especially in the past two months.

I expected some reply from one of my best friend, whom I assumed to have dropped into a dead slumber during our chat session last night, or some unread messages since I actually dropped into a dead slumber last night. Or maybe there was an update from one of my favourite Youtuber, Mr Sark, which turned out to be true.

But I was greeted by another sad news, the death of one of the legendary comedian Robin Williams. He took his own life by asphyxiation, presumeably due to depression. So I decided to dedicate this one post for the good man, who had entertained the world for decades, and hope that his legacy lives on.

You've taught us that we can look awesome even in a dress

Birthday in Fitr

Happy Eid Al-Fitr everyone, Minal Aidin wal Faidzin, please forgive me from any mistake that I made to you guys.

It's a late post, but it's not something I could really push right away, since I wouldn't have anything to write about if I haven't done anything to celebrate the day beforehand (hint: I'm lazy). If I wanted to do so then I would make something else at least a day before, like my comrade in creative retardation did, So I squeezed a video out right on the first day.
