It's been a week since the Steam holiday sale has ended. How are you Steam gamers doing, got anything good? Beaten any of your new games already yet? I hope you're holding back, because that would be a lot better since another sale season won't be around pretty soon. Besides, your wallet and/or your credit card need their well earned rest.

How to Spot a Game That You Should Not Play
Now that I'm back in high spirits again. Let's continue our journey through my rambling and potentially misleading opinions that are (personally) still a lot better than the recent news media activities. Today I want to talk about video games, but not in why would people play one. Most importantly, why people wouldn't want to instead. A lot of game makers got too focused on the things that they should be doing for the game, but forgetting about the things that they should avoid in the process.
Let's start with the basics, shall we. First, let's discuss the simple question: what is a "video game"? I'm going to go ahead and politely steal from wikipedia because I don't have the talent on describing things: A video game is an electronic game that involves human interaction with a user interface to generate visual feedback on a video device. The word video in video game traditionally referred to a raster display device, but it now implies any type of display device that can produce two- or three-dimensional images.
So why would people play video games? If you're honestly asking that question because you actually don't know the answer, then I'll asume you got hit in the head so bad that you lost half of your common sense. It is obviously to have fun, why else would you waste your precious time staring at a screen pressing buttons and not getting any notable reward for it?

What ys Thys Genisys Thyng?
So the Terminator: Genisys trailer has been released quite a few days ago. I'm sure you guys have seen it already, but let me embed it here in case you haven't because you've been wasting your time doing something else instead, like having a life.
And with that, I'm going to write some point of view about it as a fan of the Terminator franchise. A little bit of warning however: it will be filled with opinions and assumptions. It is obvious, of course, since that's the purpose of a trailer aside from giving you some tease like the recently popular open chested turtle-neck sweater on pixiv. But I just want to make it clear, nevertheless.
Terminator Genisys takes the timeline of The Terminator prologue - which makes it the aftermath of Terminator Salvation, but with less Batman - where the resistance are starting to win the war and Skynet cheats by sending its Terminators to kill Sarah Connor (Emilia Clarke), the mother of John Connor (Jason Clarke) - the leader of the resistance - in order to make him never existed in the first place. Kyle Reese (Jai Courtney) volunteered to be sent back in time to protect her. John Connor agrees with the plan, because he knows that's exactly how it is supposed to happen, and sends him off with a very heavy hearted blessing. Hey, how would you feel when you're sending some guy back in time to have sex with your mother so that you could be born?

Dear Dairy
Since I have sworn not to write any more political shits regarding the presidential election, which STILL has not been resolved peacefully after almost two weeks since the results were out, there's practically no juicy stuffs for me to write about regarding the current events in Indonesia. But seriously though, that's pretty much the one thing that people are still talking about, even world cup euphoria never lasted this long.
At least the fad had mostly died down compared to the early months of it, since most (not all) the supporters of the losing party have gone quiet, presumably weeping in shame and regret after all the hate talks and heated arguments with their now-no-longer friends that they've been doing for the past 2 months. Or they probably killed themselves and fulfilled their promise after all, good riddance.
Yes, things have became that retarded, I'm not joking, there are people who actually sworn to commit suicide if their candidate lose the election. And of course once they do lose, those people throws any excuse they can find to void that promise. With that kind of overzealous behavior, it almost look like they think that their candidate is God's offspring and He should be supporting their cause directly... Wait, they actually do?
Well fuck it, I'm dropping that subject forever.
